About Me

Hobotourism was created by Vinit Patil to promote public buses as means of tourism. Unfortunately, he does not receive any fees from the city transport department. He chooses to evangelize buses simply because he's a huge fan, much to the horror of his car dependent American friends. Vinit recently moved from NYC to San Francisco, where he walks to work, but hops on the #38 Geary whenever he gets a chance.
His other favorite buses are the 146 Express in Chicago, 2 Express in Bangkok, the 81 Ltd in Mumbai, and 5 Ltd in New York.
